Mechanic on Duty and it’s owner Carlos Bracamonte have been, by far, the most honest and reasonably priced auto mechanic shop in Orlando. I have taken my car there for a year now and had my AC serviced, parts replaced and installed, oil changes, etc. I own a 1989 Lincoln Town Car and due to its age, many things happen. I trust Carlos and his staff to repair my car and when it comes time to pay, I still leave smiling. Very fair and very reasonably priced. I have had my driver side lock replaced and replaced my rear breaks on my Ford 2012 Transit Van. Each time Carlos gave me a fair price and explained throughly what needed to be done and went back over the work after the work was completed. Hi, Finding a good honest is no fun. Fortunately, I found Mechanic on Duty CB on Mechanic Advisor. After reviewing their websites and reviews, I took the liberty to visit the shop in person to see they will "walk the walk". When I met Carlos, he was cordial and professional. Although I am no expert in car repairs, I asked him questions about flushing the brake fluid. Carlos answered my questions and educated me on new things that I didn't know. This is what I like about Carlos and people alike. They go out of their way to help. Today, Carlos flush out my dirty brake fluid. The system is cleaned and braking has improved. In my opinion, this is a serious job that Carlos did for me because there is no room for error. I really appreciate Carlos' work! It is so wonderful to find a great mechanic who I can trust. Carlos and his crew not only fixed a problem I was having but checked a problem I had with another shop that I do not trust. And what the other shop told me turned out not to be true and they told me I needed to have something done to my car, which had already been done. So anyone in Orlando needing a good place to take your car, please do try these guys. They are trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable and have great customer service which is hard to find now-a-days.
